Black Shark 2 Gaming Phone Officially Lands In Malaysia; Retails From RM2499

Just as we heard during the global launch, the Black Shark 2 has indeed launched on 1 April 2019. As for the variants that we’ll be getting, it looks like it reflects what the retailer Mobile 2 Go shared earlier on.

As a quick recap, the Black Shark 2 comes in two variants. One packs 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while another variant comes with a 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage configuration. Both are priced at RM2499 and RM2999, respectively.

Colour variants for the Black Shark 2 is limited to either in Shadow Black and Frozen Silver. There is a blue variant of the phone, it seems that that won’t be made available here officially, at least for now. On another note, the Frozen Silver variant is the model that is available with the phone’s maximum RAM and internal storage configuration.

The 8GB/128GB variant of the Black Shark 2 is already available for purchase. The 12GB/256GB variant, on the other hand, is now open for pre-order from today until 5 April 2019. Black Shark has also announced that it will be a Shopee exclusive, and that the e-commerce store is throwing in some bonuses for the first 200 purchases.
